Quality Home Care
We Lift Burdens. We Relieve Stress - And We Do It Well.
Specialized Care Since 1872
A defining attribute of JFS at Home is that we bring to bear the full resources, capabilities, and expertise of our parent organization, Jewish Family Service of Colorado (JFS). Built on JFS's tradition of providing compassionate care for 140 years, JFS at Home is a trustworthy, licensed, dedicated resource for specialized care. We’ve cultivated a reputation for honesty, compassion, kindness, excellence, and reliability that is unparalleled in this field.
Peace of Mind
We are passionate about hiring great people who are committed to these values and who demonstrate them with every client. All of our caregivers are carefully screened and well credentialed. They pass rigorous background checks and are thoroughly trained so you’ll receive the kind of care you’d give to one of your own family members. They’re also bonded and insured JFS at Home employees—that means you don’t have to worry because we are responsible and liable for all of our employees. That’s why we hire only the finest caregivers.
We also have a director and a staffing coordinator on call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week who supervise care and scheduling. We employ qualified companions who provide services to clients. We conduct personalized comprehensive home care assessments and tailor services according to the specific needs of each client. Should a client have a medical need arise, we routinely help them obtain the appropriate care by acting as a liaison with the client’s doctor and a certified home health agency, which can provide skilled medical care.
We Go The Extra Mile
We see each client as a whole person with needs that go beyond the JFS at Home scope of services and we attend to those needs in ways no other organization can. We proactively address all kinds of situations and conditions that can lead to depression and isolation. We work hard to keep at-risk clients from spiraling into a declining state of wellness and self-sufficiency by providing assistance, coordination of additional services, and other resources to clients. The spectrum of services is vast. For instance, we’ll help complete applications for transportation assistance and government programs, address dementia, evaluate housing needs, and much more.
